Maybe the pitch was still wet from the rain and they moved elsewhere.

Heard there nearly wasn’t a game at all Sunday as some people weren’t happy to even play as the game started over 90min after the rescheduled 11am start. Thankfully sanity, common sense and good leadership from both clubs prevailed and a good tight game was had. Not sure what the real issue was?
Any late transfers about before cut-offs?

Are Southport the most unluckiest team out

is it 3 final over losses in a row?

Props Risdon and Sollies?

Is it luck or just an inability to win tough games?

When the heat is on, can Southport pull through? Evidence says they struggle.

I think SP need to discount the already very reasonable Port bar beer prices for both Pollard and Gray to play in the Agrade every week.

Will the raid on Risdons Bgrade talent ever end?

rumours are circling that a left arm quick (fastest in Bgrade) who can swing it both ways might be keen on a return to the premiership team.

Even more vultures circling the Bgrade champions...I hear a player who has not had many opportunities this season has been approached by a cross town rival after a very impressive performance yesterday.

Dearlove was traded for an Iced Coffee and $3 worth of Happy Birds chips.

Is reportedly happy to be going to a club with a captain who knows how to manage his players instead of worrying about his own statistics.

Said captain promoted a person who has been willing to listen and learn at training and resulted in getting his highest ever score.

While some players have been committed club men for years and now find themselves happy to be playing elsewhere with the opportunity to play regularly.

Said captain would have gotten a better response from some people if he treated everybody the same.

My mail is Dearlove had to be released due to salary cap pressures.

I think playing yesterday has shown that even if the pitches are wet they are still fine to play cricket on. It makes washouts earlier in the season look very questionable. If it isn't raining then cricket should be played.
