Also hearing that it wouldn't be a surprise if the 2 divisions doesn't go ahead next season as there could be some legal action being taken by 1 or 2 clubs??
Funny if it doesn't and some clubs have spent a bucket load of money this year

The commentators on the SA vs NSW kayo broadcast talked about it....apparently an overseason bloke called O'Connell (?) will be playing for Sturt.

Maybe Tom O'Connell - left Sturt to go to Victoria on a four year deal?

If Sturt go down it wont go ahead, James Orchard is 2IC on SACA board and still goes to most Sturt games :D

That would be Tom O'Connell - Sturt player who's been contracted with Victoria for the past 5 years.

Eags I'm hearing it might not go ahead regardless of who is 9th. Interesting if it does though, then with the "2 up 2 down" concept it could possibly result in the "11th ranked team" replacing the "7th ranked team" in 2024/25 (If the proposed U/19s finish 9th or 10th next year, i.e. top 2 in Div 2). The clubs won't allow the 19s to be promoted?.

SACA would look even more stupid if does not go ahead. All Clubs voted to go down this line at start of season. Sub committee formed to work out how the Under 19 team will work. Interesting times ahead, that's for sure!

If McAndrew allowed to play then Woodville don't lose (draw keeps them in Div 1).

Why don’t the Root academy make up that last team in Div 2 instead of the U/19s?
RA doesn’t benefit SA cricket long term, just need to shorten the season a few weeks before they go home.

The other one is Hanno Jacobs - ex Under 19 State - moved interstate for Uni - been playing Second X1 for NSW/ACT with Blake Macdonald. Don't have issue with either, both ex Sturt Juniors.
