Any news from clubs to report. 1 i heard was that some brothers that played last season for Wanderers have spat the dummy and gone to play for an opposition club. Apparently have left from something that happened during the semi final against Karoonda last year.

Trying to think who that might be... haven't heard anything...

Don't think there has been any major player movements that I know of....

Think it may be the Jaensch brothers!!

was having a chat with the pres from Wanderers and he confirmed it is the Jaensch brothers. Taking the easy option and heading to another club instead taking things on the chin and moving on. May be the best they move on because if they are taking the soft option anyway they can be someone elses problem.

Sounds like they've gone the sook. If that's the case, i bet their looking forward to shaping up against their old team mates, ha ha... Be a typical wanderers sledge fest i would imagine...

So where have they moved to?

Would imagine at this stage karoonda would be early flag fav's again, assuming no big losses...

Despite injuries imps fielding a very strong side tomorrow with players to come back later in the year.... Should be there abouts, and like most years be full strength at the business end... Player availability will be a key...

Imps made 130 odd and bowled Karoonda out for 70 odd. Luke Harrowfield with the amazing figures of 8/14 off 8 overs. Was out until 4am the night before too.

Monarto beat Wanderers fairly comfortable.

A lot of unrest in the Wanderers camp. 5 players reported to have threatened to walk out if last years captain was made captain again, so last years captain has walked out of the club.

Very interesting considering they went from basically bottom of the ladder to making the finals and the captain gets the arse.

Not good in the Wanderers Camp thats for sure. Michael Trotter i think has been involved in that club for about 14 years i think. to get ousted so other people can stay is not good. i know Michael and he showed me what he did with planning for each game and the planning he did on opposition batsmen was exactly what a captain should be doing. Wanderers may not know it now but he will be a big loss for that club. Rumour has it Noel Hartman may not be playing because of him not being captain. Can anyone confirm.

Yeah I spoke to Trotts last week and that is what he told me. He was pretty disappointed with the way he was treated, but that's life.

I reckon it would be around 14 years - all the way from under 15's upwards. Has played in 2 premierships and they sack him as captain to keep a couple of kids happy. Not sure what has really happened at that club - they used to be pretty ruthless in their attitude but apparently not anymore.

@ RyderCountry - Trotter has gone to the Murray Bridge Golf Club... probably spend his Saturday afternoons there for awhile I would imagine. He loves Wanderers though so it wouldn't really surprise me if he ends up back there once everything blows over, but I am just not sure that he is happy playing with blokes that aren't behind him.

Club record bowling figures I believe.... Very good start to the season for the boys. Very handy win considering the injuries and players to come back.

I would like to know where the Standard get there information from. It has Michael Trotter and Noel Hartman fronting up this week for Wanderers. Carl Pfeiffer should read this forum to get up to date information. my mail has Michael Trotter possibly playing against his old club this weekend.
