Short answer, NO.

Phantom count has Brown on 34, Kelvin on 28, and Winter (ineligible for getting reprimand during season) on 22.

Group of players around 20, mainly allrounders like Pengelly and Kerber.

Brown will have 24 votes after 4 rounds, so nearly impossible to be caught after that!

Funnily enough 20/20 comp runs and wickets don't count for Bradman Medal, however if you receive a sanction in that competition then you are ineligible for the Bradman

No surprise with Brown winning easily from Kelvin, Kerber well deserved 3rd place.

Lucky did not come down to last round, how Jake Brown got 2 votes for his scratchy 18 off 60 balls and two wickets just summed up some of the umpires votes!

Jake Winter was not impressed with not even getting mentioned as joint winner of 20/20 Medal, name came up on screen that he tied but ineligible, but that was it. Considering all the voting was in minor round and his report was during semi final, you could argue he still deserved the award.

Seems he left the function straight after, refused to go up for Team of Year, was that pi55ed off, rightly so. Tim Nielsen was not impressed, would expect he will be called into the office today for a please explain.

Maybe he does not care, rumours are he has been approached by Tasmania and will be off there next season, so probably does not care if Redbacks were not impressed with him last night!

At least it gives Nielsen something to do, if it fits in with his golf
Schedule at Royal Adelaide.

He only got mentioned throughout the night after their President had a very robust discussion with the MC and some SACA staff after the 20/20 debacle.
Only hearing this third hand but seems MC was told not to mention him.

Thoughts on Spirit of Cricket award after you have a player reported :-?

Agree, was a really nice bloke. They made a mess of the presentation, Nikky Butler(??) had no idea until a few minutes after when she decided to read the info and realised he had passed away, was cringeworthy stuff.

And Nick wont even be at GF, going over to Melbourne on weekend to watch his "brother in law" Jack Lukocious make his debut for Gold Coast!

Tom Van Der Jeugd in the A's, Liam Scanlon and Max Kelly in the C's, Steven Tanti and Will Rice in the D's. Greg Tanti is the other one at Kensington, but not named for any GF - may possibly be injured?

If cricket in this state is going to go forward surely the Gravy train at SACA has to be made accountable. They are out and about recruiting as hard as they can go, might be an idea to look at some new coaching and let the bloke who loves playing golf to do it full time, who are these guys accountable to? if I was a young up and coming batsman I would be very concerned about having to get on his conveyor belt and become a robot, have not seen that approach work well in any high end sport program. You would want to be praying you had done enough work before you got there so they couldn't do a job on your technique.

Kensington dominated that session, 3/164 at Tea.

Adelaide did not look like taking a wicket.

Need a couple of quick wickets after Tea or could be still bowling Lunch time tomorrow!
