No, you need to notify when there are circumstances which don't allow cover you to cover the pitch which was not done.

Uni make up their own rules about preparing wickets when it suits .... I will wait.

Can’t be COVID related as 1st and 3rd Grade playing at Port’s home grounds.

Something wrong with Uni ovals maybe??

So turns out Uni advised SACA they could not prepare pitches at Uni ovals due to ground staff having COVID or being in isolation. Games declared draws.

In MyCricket it says that Uni's Women's 2nd Grade played at Uni Oval on Sunday

That is odd. Unless game was moved and not updated.

Heard Matthew Weeks (Port) has lodged protest re this to SACA, apparently Daniel Kerber was getting married and lots of players, including his brother, were unavailable, he believes that is the reason and using COVID as excuse. (why would cricketer get married in cricket season )

Been appointed batting coach. Is a bit of job for the boys with their Tassie connection, thru Butterworth as bowling coach. Already heard players not impressed as don’t rate him, so that’s a positive straight up

I love this...….

When a bunch of very average players (at the standard they are playing) reckon a coach is very average makes me laugh.

Have seen this over the last few years at Centrals...…..

The program has changed going forward...

There is no longer a Saturday/Sunday game scheduled on February 5 and 6.
In fact there is nothing listed that weekend for men's cricket.
And the 23rd and 29th are now one day games.

Potentially finishing the season with one dayers. The two dayers are going to be too hard to manage with people potentially out 2nd week of games. Smart move I think. Could maybe go with a situation where there's a couple of reserve weekends built in so that games can be rescheduled if need be
