Hearing several Clubs already flagged they are unlikely to get pitches up for Oct 8.

Think TTG one Club who have requested Park 25 already.

Rumour Round 1 could be pushed back to Oct 15/16 Sat/Sun for 1st Grade and all other Grades play a one day game on Oct 15.

Think this makes a lot of sense to give that extra week, clubs cant really have trial games as no pitches available this weekend more than likely.

Speaking to few Bay boys, they didn't really want him as have too many State players if all playing, disruptive to the team, but he wanted to go there as knew people there.

Looks like only few pitches be ready next weekend. May be worse than that after the rain predicted next week

SACA probably just play 1st Grade next week, with three of the games played at Park 25, the other three still as programmed. The other Senior grades will all be one day games on Oct 15 like all the junior matches. Again, common sense decision.

Yes - TTG v Uni already at Park 25 no 2.
The other venues currently as follows:
Henley, Salisbury, Kensington, Glenelg and Bice (so 2 of these to be shifted to Park 25?).
I'd be surprised if all games got away next weekend with rain/showers forecast Tuesday through to Thursday (with Friday possible as well).

Confirmed, Northerns and Southerns hosting games, plus Kensington now playing Port away at Port Reserve. Other three games at Park 25. Be tough to get a park with Redbacks at Karen Rolton Oval  All other senior grades play One day games the following Saturday.

I see Joel Size and Tim Oakley are now based in Tas and were both amongst the wickets on the weekend for their respective new clubs.

Are Peters and Short still playing at WT? I see they’re not named in the 1st XI against Prospect.

Murphy just finished playing footy in losing GF with CMS Crows, away on footy trip, will play 2nd Grade next week I think. Warren retired as his knees are shot,

One of the fellas at work knows both those guys, that is true about Short however he did say that Peters will have a hit, he will just play as a batsman but not in first grade. He wants to have a low key involvement as he has other priorities.

Good news re Murphy. Very handy cricketer and always contributes with bat and ball, often when the game is on the line. Who will keep when Nielsen is unavailable?

Correct what Billy said above, they were trying to get Warren to play as batter only, be handy at 5 or 6, but he was undecided. Think they were looking to get a Pom keeper in, arriving Round 3. Luke Terry keeps in 2nd Grade, and although he spent the winter playing cricket in England and shows some promise, not ready yet for the big jump.

Spencer Johnson with a wicket first ball of the season by the look. Feel for the batsman, all the nets and pre season work and gone first nut! Prospect in big trouble at lunch 6/72.

Looks like the SACA youtube page has 3 live streams but no live scoring. What happened to Match Centre? That was awesome as you could see the highlights.

There is some issue with linking Frog Box to PlayHQ I think, they expect to have the scores on the stream by R2 or 3. Agree about March Centre, was a great setup and used it all the time. Live scores and score cards still on myCricket.
