Kensington A grade pretty hard to break into. Obviously looking for a fresh opportunity. I think he was eligible for SACA u/19s the season just gone but may have had a line drawn through his name after some average behaviour in Tas the year before (both toward opposition and some of his own team mates). Heard from someone at Uni that he didn't exactly cover himself on glory in the B grade GF with some very nasty sledging. Hopefully a new club can see a change in attitude as I've heard he's quite talented.

Yeh we played against him last year when he was making his 1st Grade debut, he was sledging our players like he was a Jake Brown, was quite funny when he had achieved nothing yet.

Stories re Tassie are correct, had to get Tim Nielsen involved re Kelly twins. Does not surprise Uni said that as he goes way too far. Will fit in well with Josh Pengelly!!

Virtually confirmed that Fletcher from Kensington to Adelaide.....some Buffalo boys tagging him in stuff on social media....

Speaking of the Kelly boys rumours of them unhappy at Sturt???

Haven't heard that one but if that were the case I'd imagine Sturt wouldn't want to let them go, or wouldn't clear them as they would be required players. Probably 2 of the better players to come out of the juniors there in a long time (in addition to O'Connell and ignoring the fact they are brothers).

Not sure if the rumour about Cormack leaving Adelaide to go to East Torrens is true? I recall a post previously mentioning he may head interstate after losing his contract?

Kartas from Pt A to Woodville?

ET can use the new facilities as a recruiting tool. Cormack was looking to leave before last season, so may be something in it.

Kartas did very well two seasons ago, but was not given much of a go last year by Port. Think this would be good get as think he is pretty handy.

Think Cormack is going to move interstate to have a crack.

Agree re East Torrens being enticing with the best facilities in comp now, they are after Kelly twins as his Dad played 1st grade there, but in the past they have knocked back the offers.

Heard rumour Jake Winter knocked back rookie contract with Redbacks. But not to go to Tassie like was mentioned previously.

Going to just play at Glenelg, going back to study at Uni and then get full time job.

Another player SACA have stuffed around, sick of them having their favourites who they give the world too and let all this talent go to waste. Need to play at Woodville with Harry so Daddy will give them a rookie contract, what a joke!!

Hats off to him for thinking about his life after cricket.
I wonder if AUCC get wind of this and offer him a "scholarship" which would probably be more lucrative than a rookie contract to try and poach him away from the Bays (tongue in cheek of course!).
I wonder if that means he'll also rule himself out of the Redbacks League (which is "ever popular" amongst the players)?

That's a great point about UNI, getting out of study without a HECS debt is worth gold !!

As captain of Bays, he is pretty invested there and cant see him leaving, but could understand if he got that offer would be very tempting!

You're right - they need to get their "juniors" from somewhere.

He has not made a final decision yet. He is leaning towards East Torrens at this stage though.

Definitely won't be at Adelaide though.

Find SA cricket hard to understand, looked at their contracts and Kelvin Smith appears nowhere. How does one person have so much power, why do they allow him to control everything with no questions asked, the performance of the State team is currently not remotely competitive. When one of our most talented young players appears nowhere on the contract list surely serious questions need to be asked of the processes being used together with the lack of improvement. The best thing that can happen sadly, is for people like Kelvin Smith to rub their noses in it as it seems like it is a closed shop in this state!!

I see Patrick Page is still on the contract list. Thought he might have fallen out of the system. Hopefully back on track this year.

He was given a 3 year deal initially, so this is the final year. He would want to have a pretty good season to get another one. Redbacks have sent him up to QLD for few months to help him, was 20kg over weight, no confidence, bit depressed, so hopefully can turn himself around or will be another wasted talent.

Dalton had one more year left of contract also which helped him survive too, attitude went backwards last season so, again, hopefully he can get back on track also.

Anybody know the reasoning behind Cormack potentially moving?

Get that Glandore isn’t the best place to bowl spin but being grand finalists and Shaun Tait taking over its an interesting time to move.
