I stand corrected but I think he and his brother Andrew (off spinner) also played at East Torrens?

Remarkable can’t think of that ever happening before. Hags would be happy to let kelvin smith be the batting coach at Woodville wouldn’t he?
Must be paying cosy well

Just about every up and coming opposition leg spinner in world cricket spent time with Shane Warne after a test series. Nathan Lyon recently went to Victorian State training whilst in a state hub in Adelaide and worked with Todd Murphy. Plenty of similar interactions after big bash matches with local players and opposition overseas players of same skill set. I reckon this type of things (formally or informally) happens pretty regularly in high level cricket.

It is definitely what Mark knows best - batting - has a few of these types of roles currently or in the past SACA, DLCA, ND, NT Strike League. If a person is professional enough to manage several clubs trainings and they are the best person for the job then good luck to them! As for the loyalty I couldn't imagine him playing at another Premier club - wouldn't be surprised if Salisbury Oval was one day renamed the Mark Cosgrove Oval.

I see it's now official that Manenti is at Adelaide CC. I wonder where Conway and Thornton end up? I heard on the grapevine that Thornton is an absolute stuck up wanker (as big a dickhead as Agar). Nielsen was aware of this but still recruited him on a 3 year deal. Another great move for the culture of SA cricket!! Well done Tim!! Obviously there isn't a dickhead test applied at the SACA.

Agar a dickhead?

I don't know him personally but have heard otherwise from other players

Batsmen who are scared of the ball wouldn't like him!

And anyone predisposed to hate Uni players (which is most people!)

Sorry TC - nothing to do with Uni. It's more to do from what I've heard from a very reliable source about how he treats some of his fellow squad members in at the Redbacks.

Still hearing Thornton to Kensington (replacement for Worrall) and Conway to Uni (replacement for Winter). Conway wanted to go to Glenelg but don’t think Bays wanted him, would have too many State players which can be quite unsettling when they all play for Redbacks.
