That was 2014, I heard there was a nasty one on the weekend where play was delayed for some time, the bloke was out for 10 minutes.

Unfortunately not the academic$ and their recruiting program :yawinkle:

Not much can be done now, however registering the player under a new ID rather than the one they have on My Cricket is poor form.
Not knowing all details but would think both parents of player and club should now better.

Yep, spot on. Young Pom playing his first A Grade game, Hagan-Burt. Hit straight back at him, hit in head and it still went sideways to the boundary for four! Ambulance called but could not get out onto Park 25. Think he ended up walking across to RAH.

Was there over five overs before released, then at home that night got call from hospital to say they found something on his brain and to come in urgently. Lucky they did or he could have been in serious trouble. Feeling ok now thank goodness.

Thanks mate, that fills in a few blanks now from what I was told.

Here's a beauty:

Sturt are due to play Port in the womens A Grade comp on Sunday in a T20 @ noon.

They asked Port if they could start it at 10am, Port asked their players and had a few that couldn't make the early start so informed Sturt that it was impossible so SACA have changed it regardless to an 11am start but Port have until noon to get a team there to avoid a forfeit.

Here's the catch, they have also scheduled the Ray Sutton Shield Grand Final there for a 12:30 start, that is the reasoning behind the3 early start in the first place, even an 11am start would be out of the question if Sturt batted first.

I doubt it, there's a chance at a world record if they bat first.

I'm just spewing as my son is playing the later game and it's soaking up all of my weekends as it is.

Looking forward to the RS Shield being over.

They've scheduled the games on the same oval?

Surely there are a heap of grounds free on Sunday

PA still have women's cricket? I had heard that most their players had looked into putting a side into PDCA?

Haha. Yeah Monday nights - I was told they want to move to PDCA because they don't want to play grade anymore? Don't know how accurate it is, but makes me think they other weeks game against ND has done more damage than good.

Yep, now I see they've pushed the Ray Sutton GF back an hour, I wont get home til 7:30 at least.

I thought it would be a neutral ground, no team finished higher than the other.

They still seem upbeat and optimistic, we still get our weekly text to see if the girl is available, no doubt when the Jets scored a million against them it would've turned a few away from the game, they forfeited the next two games after that.

Going to be tough Sunday with no Amanda, they do have 3 or 4 A Grade standard players so things are looking up a bit.
