I know the A Grade was sort of competitive last year, but some clubs struggled with their lower grades hence the competition was .... not great to put it mildly.

If Morphies dont fill a B Grade that will leave the number of clubs at 5 for that grade.

Also heard Hamilton to ASCA so if true yet another club to depart the SCA...I'm tipping this will be the last year the SCA exists as a Senior comp unless 2-3 clubs miraculously form in the Southern area within the next 12 months.

Due to the lack of teams, I hear Travis Bahr will form his own side. Apparently they will play 10 players short each week and the SCA is believed to be writing one-man-stands into the association's playing conditions.

Just wondering if the 20/20 on 8 October is for points or just a bit of hit and giggle?

Lets fire this forum up or it is indicative of the sides in the SCA not giving a $hit.

Appears all the clubs have been too busy training for the new season to post on here. Michael Houston is back from a broken neck and will pull on the whites for Kangarilla again this season.

Was a dominant left arm quick in junior ranks, but has become more of a batsman. Made 170 a few years ago against Morphett Vale.

Really am glad he's recovered. Was there when he hurt his neck and although the incident seemed harmless it's outcome was terrible. Didn't realize he was as good at cricket as he was as a tap ruckmen. Great bloke to boot
