I know a few who have had success buying from Ebay and a few who got duds, just with stickers thrown on them to make them look like legit top line bats. Generally as with any thing ebay check the feedback and comments, normally a good guide to the bats you are getting, Good luck with it

I am not sure with bats on eBay, indians make bats and just add stickers.
I love vegatarian food. It goes great with steak.

Assuming you are buying from the Australian seller jsm? It looks to be pretty good. Just ask for photos of the actual bat you will get, the bats in the picture look good but I would want to see the actual bat just to be sure.

Terrible idea, you have absolutely no guarantee its going to be any good, there is so much variation in standard of willow these days. Discount websites like oo.com.au are much more reputable and offer genuine discount, rather than inflated rrp's.

Its English willow grown in England, I wouldnt buy Kashmir. I batted 3 times last year and borrowed a bat every time. If I was a top 6 then yes I would want to pick it up first, being a bowler my spikes are more important than my bat.

The point he was making I think is just because it is listed as English doesn't mean its not Kashmir, I have known of one who thought he was getting a top quality English Willow bat, for it to turn out to be a kids type Kashmir bat with the English Willow stickers thrown on.

The picture may depict English willow but what the Crafty Indian fellow will send you could be entirely different....

I would rather buy a bat from the Franchised Sports store than go to ebay and get one.

Having said that I have purchased a blank from India just to see what it was like and for $80 delivered I got what I paid for and even got a free scalpel scratch down the middle of the bat blade when customs opened it up  Other than that it has been a good wet weather bat as I don't care what happens to it, got some fantastic dents in it as a result of no knocking in too

This guy isn't from India......

Don't buy from a franchise store, either buy from GC Cricket Centre or Cricket Warehouse.

Kingsgrove Sports is another quality online retailer.

As others have said though....you'd be crazy to buy a stick without actually picking the thing up.

I'd stick to borrowing bats mate, that one in the picture is horrific.
If you are paying any more than postage for it, you are getting ripped off.
