They used that at the recent meeting too.

In fairness to the South Road side that have received hidings this season, they are always at training, on matchday you will never see a more enthusiastic bunch of people who never say a bad word and just love playing cricket.

I wish them all the best and hope they stick together.

Tips for this weeks finals?

Ramblers to finally get that win in the A grade after being around the mark in the four for a long time. Havent lost at Plympton in a few years so have to feel confident.

I'm tipping Plympton in Section 1 to go back to back, easily been the best team in the competition this season. Also tipping ICC Sharks to win Section 2.

Best team that hasnt beaten the Ramblers at Plympton the last three times they've played there. Last two times have been belted. ;)

Morphy Parks in Section 2 for me, obviously.
Way too close for comfort last weekend.

I will take our neighbor to win Section 1.

Fair enough, streaks like that do have a habit of repeating themselves, Ramblers obviously have the wood over Plympton. I'm picking Plympton given they are the best team I've seen this season and our team all agreed they were the best team we played against. Plus they have the GF experience, all new territory for Ramblers making the GF on their fourth attempt. After three years of heartbreak they've got there and they will be pumped!

Plympton the best side all year. Doesn't mean alot on the weekend though. Could be decided at the coin toss. Always hard to chase in a GF. Whoever bats first for mine.

Bugger me on the Section 1 score.

Morphy Parks chasing 235 tomorrow.
That's all I know as I saw the scoreboard when I drove past on my way to work.

I dont know what hope Plympton have. 50 runs behind and they have to take 17 wickets in a day. But an amazing day for the Ramblers. Been a very long time and its pretty awesome to see guys like Matt Smith who is the absolute foundation of the Ramblers to be playing in this team.
