How often do you hear about this. Clubs dropping down grades and then players come out the woodwork. Footy clubs too.The Bedge wrote:Interesting, Craigmore requested to drop to Grade 2 due to losing players.. now word getting around is a number of those players want to return.

I'll give the PDCA Exec. every bit of backing on this one, generally to be allowed to go down you have to submit a list of players that you have lost and who is left, any player you've stated has left is NOT allowed to return to the lower grade, I'm pretty sure Rosies found this out the hard way?

Yes Rosies found out the hard way, that's how Mansueto ended up at Enfield for a season.
Also in other news, Peterson clearance to Units no good - still requires a permit to play LOs so cant play for Units till next season lol.

Testing my memory now.. Feltus (or Felti plural) originated from Enfield, did get Scotty, Will Quick and Mansueto as well. The PDCA ruling was that if they'd played majority Grade 1 they couldn't play (or could only have 3 play?), and at the time I think Cam had been a fringe player but just experienced his first season in Grade 1 which meant he was ineligible to play Grade 4 so he came to Enfield for that season and Quick followed him (although Will only played a couple games because he was quite sick at that time).
*edit* - just checked, 14/15 Cam played 11 games in G1 therefore wasn't allowed a permit to drop to G4. Returned in 16/17 when they were in G3.
