Great to see 12 teams in the A3s, and a few different teams too. Will make for an interesting year.

Freeling have the Morgan trip the week before christmas, sounds like a mini cricket trip could be on the cards :D

Is the forecast rain over the next few weeks going to set back most turf clubs? Saddleworth's wicket is in desperate need of some sunlight to promote some growth before the season starts

District cricket doesn't start until Oct 15. Since premier league they've been starting a fortnight later than historically. Has made a massive difference to wicket square recovery.

I was at sandy creek oval for a birthday party sunday arvo and went for a kick of the footy, and my feet almost sunk in, it was that soft. Didnt go near the pitch but it didnt look like much prep had been done. Not sure how long you need tbh

On another note, anyone wanna hit of A3s for the next two weeks? This two day game at the start of the season is making it quite hard to get a team on the park :P

Can't get any prep done when we can't get the roller out on the pitch.

No cricket at Sandy Creek, Stockwell, Angaston and Probably Kapunda.
Think there will definitely be games at Nuri and Eudunda with the other 3 50/50
Seems that the grounds that top dressed are struggling

Apparently the covers got blown off at Sandy last night so they escape their game with Lyndoch with the 5 points, could be handy in their battle to avoid relegation hey Jim ;)

What the hell happened at Saddleworth on the weekend? GV lost 9/17 with young Joey finding a good line.

Poor batting was what happened. Made up for it with the ball this week though.

Not allowed when it's against Ango All rounder................
It is early in the year though and if we can do it at seasons end we will certainly know how to celebrate.

Need to make it to the pointy end first, something that's been beyond you for a long time. You had to beat ango to make up for the loss to the gawler Central 2s last game

Any truth that Ryan Barker was told he's not welcome at South?
Makes sense, C grade at the Jets can't be all that attractive
