I am aware we played them earlier, but we just played them last week and now again this week is the question I am asking, just a bit strange that is all.

just what ever fits, the 4s and 5s are last on the list for eveness and fairness when it comes to doing the draw

Can't wait for the Knightys writeup in the Bunyip after South lost outright after a 120 run first innings lead.

How many overs did they allow them?

I wonder if it's a typo in the Kapunda game, Kym Jarman 9 overs, 5 maidens, 41 runs.

Yeah, 25 overs is a bit friendly, 160 off 20 and there's a bit in there for both teams.

South had nothing to lose and were trying to seal top spot and they came within a couple of wickets of doing so. A couple of South blokes are very happy to meet them again in 3 weeks time if it pans out that way

No LM that is correct, bowled some little noodlers early on that the lads just blocked out and Corey Roberts took him downtown late in the innings, a few sixes were hit

Big weekend of cricket this weekend. No bigger than the top grade with South V Angaston. I’ll be there both days as an interested on looker trying to hear all the banter that is going on out in the middle.

Question for people on here.

Will paying players in cricket become the normal thing to do from now on?

With South winning the A1s this year will this set a precedence for years to come. Only really Angaston were competitive with the south team made up of two extremely handy recruits. Will clubs have to do the same to keep up.

I’m not saying there is anything wrong with what south have done it was completely within the rules and well done to them as you still need to go out and perform , I’m just wondering if it changes the landscape of country cricket (especially in the BL). ??

On a side not well done to Robby McCard for winning the Mosey. No doubt that was money well spent from the Lions
