To be based out of Houghton footy club, their inclusion would remove the bye in both grades of that comp.. sounds win/win.

Houghton would be at least 20km from Rose Pk the suburb, might as well just be Houghton

Then why wernt they called St Paul's or Gilles Plains?

Exactly.

Why are Hawthorn not called Tasmania? :D

TVCA clubs notified over the weekend. I cannot imagine there will be any objections given our league needs some bolstering, although match ups like Cambrai or Palmer v Rose Park do sound a little odd at first. Would be great to play on Houghton Oval again.

Word is 2x divisions.. possibly 9x new sides joining from multicultural communities.

Sunday games are a possibility as well, and T20's incorporated in fixture.

Lutheran fielding 2x sides in C&CCA i'm led to believe - their B and C grade.

Enjoy keeping tabs on what new players rock up for the second week of the game, notorious for it.
Cheat if they get to umpire or is that don't know the rules or is that play dumb, take your pick.
Nice to have new teams in your comp if it happens but it will be an experience for you all.

One day comp, and should hopefully have umpires so will alleviate those issues.

Thing that has proven difficult over the last couple years that I've seen with them though is they can't score or don't do it properly/complete and never update their MyCricket.

The best is when they have 4 blokes all named G Singh and one guy bowls 18 overs straight from one end in a limited overs game....

Looking at scorebooks over last season, they seem to name each other by first name more than last name - but it gets hard again because they tend to have nicknames or 3/4 different names, and seems a different one is used every time

For instance one bloke from our club - started as Pranshu Parteek, then was Parteek Pranshu, then was Pranshu Pranshu, then was Parteek Bakshi.

Another bloke - Amy Singh, then Amritpal Singh, then Amritpal Sidhu, then Amritpal Sidhu Singh, then Amanpal Sidhu

Wow, didn't know that was on the cards until read the last couple pages today
How and why did that come about? Why didn't some of the old Kersbrook boys try to revive the cricket club there?
