Play HQ

I don't want to keep Hijacking the ATCA topic about the transfer from MyCricket to Play HQ so here's a thread to discuss, raise issues, give advice and get help for what's ahead.

No doubt I'll be asking for help and advice about it at some point.

If anyone finds that group please let us know, will join as I'll likely need their help a fair bit!

I didn't remember this one correctly - it's obviously AFL based but I'm sure there are similarities between the two

Do clubs & associations get websites as part of it again?

Not in football

Take the time to have a good look through the site and it’s a lot easier than people are saying.Don’t expect to be on top of it in the first 10 minutes but it doesn’t take long to master.

If you search Facebook for:
Community Cricket - PlayHQ Admins

you'll find a private group that is starting up for this sort of stuff.

I'm not in it so not sure if its any good, but will try and join and see what they have to say.

Also:

SACA Play HQ

is another group but I think that's more for communications from saca, rather than a discussion opportunity.

I got an email yesterday about SACA's 2022 Play HQ Roadshow and they had a link to their Facebook page that you mentioned.

In May CA will be launching Play HQ Webinars with an online version of their Play HQ workshops that they will be hosting at clubs around Adelaide in June and July.

Any idea when Play HQ will be accessible for clubs and can you still setup registrations via mycricket this year?

I know it's only May, but want to be organised ready for next season and get my rego's all setup ready to go.

Have any playhq admins been able to set the permissions for the Captains to be able to allocate players to a side ?
I have set my Captains and toggled to the right , but they aren't able to manage teams.

They access via the PlayHQ site for their profile.. open upcoming game.. should say at the bottom “public view / manage” select manage.

I recommend going to their profile on safari or whatever browser they use, and then saving the link to their Home Screen.

I played around with the team selection part of Play HQ on Sunday both as an admin and then setting and allowing captains access, it took me awhile to work out but I think I've got it sorted now.

Two options:
1) MyCricket App this season

2) Open PlayHQ, search association, select competition, then add shortcut to your Home Screen.

Eg PDCA follow this link

I don't think our captains are tech savvy enough to use it at all lol and our admins will do it all.

If juniors want to play seniors in the afternoon, do they have to pay the Insurance and IT fees twice or will playhq detect they've already paid it as a junior and let them register for zero $$$ ?

No they don’t. Just get your admin to lodge permit in PlayHQ
