Can now confirm that the 7pm game on Pitch 2 at St.Marys tonight will see the debut of....
THE SOUTHERN LEGENDS V SHANE GUY ALLSTARS

Much like the Eagles Allstars at Gaza, the Shane Guy ecclectic assortments is an oppurtunity to try the game for those that might be interested playing alongside those that havent been put into a team and have registered as individuals. Tonights team will also feature an SANFL Team of the Year PLayer and possibly AFL bound rep to help out Shane and his band of merry misfits.

Awesome start to the 9s season with the Gaza, Kenilworth and City comps all up and running a treat. Each with an Allstar team to facilitate the introduction of new teams and hopefully sprout new teams. Each of these comps has the ability to cater for up to 4 new teams this season.

Tonight sees the re-birth of the Gepps Cross division one northern mixed league from 6pm. Feel free to get on down and have a look at the game for everyone.

All info is on the flyer that has been previously posted in this topic.

What a sensational first week of AFL 9s at the 4 venues. 34 teams are part of the ever growing phenomenon and we are looking for more teams and individuals to try "The game for everyone"

I have recieved some interest from listeners of the five AA sports show with Rowey and Cornesy who tuned in to the show on Friday and were introduced to the concept of AFL 9s for the first time. As advertised on the show the oppurtunitie exsists for players to come and try AFL 9s at one of the four competitions as each competition has an allstars line up to welcome new players and facilitate the oppurtunity to become part of this very popular brand of social sport. THE FIRST WEEK IS FREE and then after that its only $20 to register and insure yourself as an individual and $8 per week. For those looking to register a team of upto 15 squad members its only $200 and $70 per game.

This weeks Allstars games and locations are as follows ;
Tuesday @ Gaza 8pm...Ian Bone - Competition Manager
Tuesday @ St. Marys/Kenilworth 7pm...Shane Guy - Competition Manager
Wednesday @ City/East Parklands 7pm...Todd Bertshinger - Comp Mgr
Thursday @ Gepps Cross/Northgate Sports association 8pm...Simon Barratt - Comp Mgr
