Athelstone oval is a muddy hole. salisbury is a good oval at the start of the footy season. the best oval i have played on is waikerie oval it is better than most SANFL ovals

I've played a fair few games of college footy at park 10 and although well grassed it tends to be pretty soft and hard to run on. The stench from the compost place isn't enjoyable either. Hard to tell where the boundary is on the Bundey's road side aswell.

I love Argana Park, always a quality surface. Good size and in pleasent surroundings.

Worst for me by far is Eastern Park, shitehole! Also Brahma Lodge with there grazer in the middle and the boundry line that swerves around the soccer goals lyin on the ground!!

Good (in no order)

Heccies (obviously biased - changerooms are ordinary though)
Payneham (better facilities than Heccies)
Fitzroy (I always seemed to play ok there for some reason)
Walkerville (excellent facilities and oval)
Football Park (Canberra)
Manuka Oval (Canberra - balardy huge oval)

Bad (in no order)

Old Iggies and before them Edwardstown Baptist (facilities are diabolical)
Adelaide Lutheran (changerooms were ordinary)
Brookway Oval (?) (the old stomping ground of Norwood Union, shocking place to rock up and play in the early to mid 90's)
Glenunga (shocking facilities for away teams)
Greenway Oval (Tuggeranong) (kangaroos over the fence on the outer wing and gale force winds straight from Mt Kozzie)
STA/TransAdelaide Tigers (thank god for small miracles, it's no longer an oval (we got done 45 goals to 16))
Pembroke (tree hanging over the oval)

I watched our C4 elimination final there this year and couldn't believe the surface. Was amazing. And to have a grandstand for teams playing in the C Grades is a good get.

Hmmmmmm....I never enjoyed Waikerie's oval.
However, they've upgraded their changerooms and they're fantastic.

Berri Oval is very good. Probably the best up here, closely followed by Loxton. Although the visitors changerooms would be very small (but not as smalls as Paralowie's).

08 should see it even better as the drainage has been upgraded. i'll pass this comment onto the groundsman - he'll be chuffed.

Seaton is a terrible place to play. Sandpit of an oval, changerooms too small to swing a cat in, an oval which is easy to see but impossible to get into(very frustrating when running late) and the friendliest supporters you've ever seen. They did put some jugs on for us after the game though which is always appreciated.

Mitcham was like that this year, run straight out of the rooms straight into the BBQ. Caught between a rock and a hard place.

we played a trial at Thunder Park home of ironbank! I am not a big kick but I got a free at CHB and thought about lining up the goals. Its like a postage stamp. Myponga in the GSFL in its day was a shocker, but they've made some big improvements!!!!

Best Country Oval - United (long Plains) 1 x Water Tower, 2 Houses, 1 Football Oval like a green carpet, Great Lights
Worst Country Oval - Hamley Bridge- The change rooms are about the same size as ute.

Best Metro - Kilburn,
Worst Eastern Park, Look out for the trees at the southern end.
