Of you listen to certain people at Rosewater, then they have the worst oval that has ever hosted a game

You, and the council, must agree that it isn't in good nick, given that you've installed a new irrigation pump, laid some new turf and are planning to lay some more. How many are in worse condition in PAEC?

It's in better condition than this time last season, you must admit that too..

right from the start it has been said that it is a 2-3 year project that will take time.

There are soccer grounds in far worse condition that Eric sutton reserve is, and there are football ground throughout the state that are much much worse... to say yours id the worst in Adelaide is laughable. As is the complaints about the type if turf used.

I've never said it is the worst in Adelaide and I fully understand it'll take 2-3 years to fix. I know who you are referring to when you refer to "certain people at Rosewater". One end is better, although not visually, as for the other end, I'm not too sure - its too far from the bar.
Perhaps the question that needs to be answered is why is it in the condition it is in? Mt Carmel? Neglect?

The Newcastle st end, is one of the main points of complaint, there are a few contributing factors, the least of which is the school. The irrigation system that is bring upgraded will help to show a vast improvement over this summer along with re turfing the far end.

Not being able to use any liquid chemicals at all on the oval certainly doesn't help thing too.. next time you see Adam, tell him I said hi ;)

Admittedly I never played on it, but I umpired there before I took up playing and wasn't a fan of the deep pockets. Thought it was a bit bare in places too. That was a couple of years ago now though.

Over the last few weeks I have umpired at Streaky Bay and Kimba. Both ovals were great to run around on and you dont end up sore by the end of the game. The secret is both are watered by recycled water.
I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I can't put it down.

Why don't you give us your expert opinion and technical description of what is wrong with the oval, and how you would remedy the problem.
