IMO the best ground to play footy on in S.A. is PHOS Camden's ground, and the worst by a long way is Fiztroy, its a shocker.

Depends what you are after,
Best Surface- Golden Grove/Adelaide Uni,
Best Facilities- Kilburn,
All round (Atmosphere, big ground and good surface)-Kenilworth

Worst grounds i have played on- North Pines,Paralowie,Morphettville Park.

Seen some beauties that I have not played on such as Berri and Strathalbyn.....

Paralowie will be a common response from those that have had the pleasure, and all will be for worst. Not too many ground that can have two cricket pitches in such bad spots. I wont even comment on the facilities.

Still remember the time we played there and some bloke showed us the away change rooms and as we walked over some guy opened the door and backed his shit box car out of them.Stick in my memory for life. Like playing in a 3rd world country.Glad the government is finally looking after them.......

The main college ovals might be great but the ovals they put theiroldcolls on are all shockers. After one game at Saints we couldn't tell who was who. Maybe instead of building their next diving pool they could improve the changerooms too.

I'll be biased and say I love our oval. Kilburn also has a great set-up.

Don't mind Payneham, Campbelltown and Pooraka either. Can't comment on Kenilworth, never played there.

Pooraka is a good oval, but like Mitcham, the fence around the ground is a little to close to the oval.

GAZA and Lonsdale are a couple of terrible ovals to play on and Kilburns facilities aren't that good champ, best surface Henley and Adelaide Uni for me, Brighton isn't to bad either....

Goolwa Oval is one of the best country surfaces I've seen! My first experince watching a Div 1 amatuer match was at gaza. Could not believe my eyes the oval was a disgrace!!

Strath is a good oval for the big games, the Lovelock shield etc, always great atmosphere there.

In RMFL, best oval maybe Mypolonga.

When was the last time you were at Kilburn Fudd? My only criticism of the facilities is that the water doesn't get quite hot enough. Plus Brighton is a hole and Uni doesn't stay flash through winter.

Heccies oval is superb!, facilities arent that crash though...

Our oval turns into slush with any sniff of rain, but in terms of facilities rates amongst the best of any team in any league...

Always liked playing at SMOSH for some reason, terrible changerooms but i like the ground. Its a good all-weather surface.
I like Payneham too, especially early in the year before the rain gets to it.
Our ground (Portland) always has a good surface. It is small though.
Clare Oval is another nice spot to play footy aswell.

Gaza sould not be allowed to have footy played on it, its terrible. Adelaide Uni is a great ground but suffers in the winter, same as Gepps Cross but their oval bogs up after a drizzle of rain. For all year round playability Broadview's is high on the list along with Sals Nth (apart from the cricket pitch full on sand).

Fair call on Broadview. I run their during the week and it looks a treat, especially at the start of cricket.
