Grand Finals ??

They say premierships don't come around every year (Well unless you play for Willunga )

I thought I'd do a poll to see just how many of you have played in/won a premiership etc

Of course there are several scenarios, like played in several, lost some, won some etc...
But in this case pick the most successful of the options.
And of course feel free to elaborate.

Played 2 prelims, 1 as captain and lost both. Look back now and probably should have won both, definatly the 2nd one. It's a deep wound and thanks for bringing it up A Mum

Played in back to back u/12 flags with some current SANFL players. 1 undefeated. We didn't play finals finished top EPL style

move up a level to u/16's got flogged for a couple of years then made a prelim (which we should have won) and a GF a year later and got flogged I played in the FP crumbing off the FF some how the ball ended up in my lap in the first minute and I shanked it for a point and we didn't kick another score until late in the last

First year of seniors in 2003, North Haven made finals in both grades....dropped me from all teams because i was 15 and didnt want me getting hurt...both teams made GFs....both teams lost.

Ive been lucky enough to play in 13 grand finals in a few sports and including juniors.

Played in 2 grand finals. Won one and lost one. Shouldn't have lost and it still burns.

1991 Blackwood U/17's, we defeated Birdwood in the Hills div 2 GF which is now known as the Country division. We won 7.6 to 3.3.

[200 Killer Wasps]

Played in 10 grand finals over 29 years of senior football.

Unfortunately only played in three premierships the last in 2005 was the perfect note to retire on after waiting 19 years since the previous one.

Watched that GF, Rosewater far too good. Actually went to possibly see big brawls but never eventuated....

Played 2 in juniors, won 1, lost 1. 3 prelims and 2 1st semi losses.
Played 6 in seniors, won 5, lost 1. 1 prelim loss.

Been very fortunate in my playing time so far, hopefully it continues! I look at someone like Barry Clarke and you realise how rare and special winning a grand final is, hes played 560 and never won a GF and there wouldnt be a more deserving bloke to win one.

Yeah i went and watched, in shorts and a t-shirt, and it was about 5 degrees and pissed down with rain all day.
