A History of the South Australian Amateur Football League

Postby nowerman » Fri Sep 14, 2012 7:00 am

Hi. I'm chasing a copy of the A History of the South Australian Amateur Football League 1911-1994 book. Does anyone know where I can order a copy?

Thanks

I didn't think you could, I thought you could only buy the other dodgy, non-factual disaster they call a book.

Try Santo at Melbourne Sports Books, but I think you may be out of luck with him on that score - last time I was over there from Perth, I saw the error-riddled version on his shelf but I doubt he had Fred Bloch's version still.

I have left the WACA since we last caught up, but I do have a copy of the book ... but only to borrow, as it is a much loved book in my library and it will assist me in how to format the WA Amateur Footy League's history book (slowly but surely being worked on by a group of people).

PM me if you need anything specific from Fred's book.

Thanks for all the suggestions.I rang the SAAFL offices and it turns out they still have some copies for $15. A bargain compared to the $100 2 online book retailers were asking for the book.

A big thanks to JamesH for picking up a copy and sending it. Greatly appreciated.
