Are you playing for Shane Guys Southern Rep team?
Should be an interesting display as we attempt to put on an AFL 9s clinic under the new rules where if the ball touches the ground it's a turnover. No doubt it will be good fun :)

We are currently in negotiations with some western suburbs clubs to creat a fifth summer zone that will be all MENS for those Footballers who still have the competitive juices flowing in October and as a great first stage to a pre-season. Whilst still being a social league it would be great if some of the proud local clubs put together and entered an AFL 9s team. The likes of SMOSH, Port Districts, Rosewater, North haven, Portland, West Croydon, Henley and Wingfield. "The Best of the West" is tentatively scheduled for October post SANFL Grand Final day with more info available soon.

AFL 9s "The game for everyone"... even Western suburbs footballers ;)

Its looking like the million dollar facilities of Rosewater will host the Western Suburbs MENS competition starting in mid October.
Once all negotiations are final, teams will be able to register online.

Im going to close this thread topic and re-open one for the 2013/14 Spring and Summer seasons. There will be another 3 zones or leagues available to play AFL 9s "The game for everyone". We are rapidly expanding and will be found all around Adelaide and in each direction heading out from the city. We also have broadened the types of leagues and will have both Mens and Families leagues starting in October.

The new website has all the information about the new venues, dates and details.
