My apologies, i will make sure it gets updated on Friday. The comp manager Todd works in a bank and his boss frowns upon him doing AFL 9s work whilst at work. Hard to beleive i know :o .

All the results will get posted to the website afl9s.com.au

Not that it helps you but the results from most other leagues/zones have been posted. :)

Thanks mate. Toddy does a great job managing 18 teams and im enjoying getting out and watching the games each week as this year everyone is playing in the right spirit and has adapted to the rule changes which help us conform with the rest of Australia. 8)

Dont forget the addition of our French exchange students selling crepes for $3 each. i inhaled a few on Wednesday they were sensational.

Which team do you play for Hefty?

I play for 'Bring It On'. We are doing a helluva lot better than we were last year.

And I agree, that teams are playing in the right spirit this year. Last year there were a few teams playing for sheep stations and in all honesy just a pack of knobs.

Do like the rule change were it is a turnover if the ball hits the ground. Makes people who haven't played AFL before try to harness their kicking skills.

I copped a lot of grief when i came back from the state managers meeting at AFL house and said im changing the rules to conform with the rest of Australia. Its taken a long time to get people to except that it brings everyone into the game and slows it down a bit to make it more social and incorporates all participants. There are still some participants in some of the zones that arent completely sold but its meant to be social non contact football and the rule facilitates that style being played.

At last count we still hadnt had anyone drafted to the AFL from AFL 9s :)

The Gepps X comp will be both mixed and men's. Teams that have females get 9 points per girl. Most teams won't have girls. Simon Barratt is the manager and his details are on the website.

There is meant to be a straight men's comp at Rosewater but there has not been a lot of interest so we are trying the girls optional comp starting second week of Jan
