I realize that. The fact it will be discussed is bad enough. Can't the Labour party wait until we see the affect of the Carbon Tax before planning their next hit.

No worries, TSG.

There will be a large number of things discussed. I doubt such a 'tax' would be introduced and I agree thay'd be silly to do it in the current climate.

You would think it would be some sort of toll booth system in the larger cities.

No.. they'd go for an e-tag system with a minimum monthly payment whether you use the city roads or not that month.
No Toll Booth staff to pay too...

e toll tag system here in South east QLD. Toll booths were removed to reduce the amount of wait time and traffic at tolled roads. And yes to stop paying attendants at toll booths.

I would assume the states would want to modify the plan so they could collect this funding and the property stamp duty..
