Love it, every MP's dirty washing is about to come out in public.

We may only have half of the parliament sitting soon.

Would be great to see Thompson and Mirabella sitting next to each other discussing ways and means of ripping off people.

I agree, the Libs are starting to fall apart. The big factional blow up between Lib powerbroker Michael Kroger & Costello is starting to boil over with Costello supposedly wanting Frydenberg dumped and to be parachuted into his seat. Now Hockey & Kroger are going at it too.

Abbott's "Asian Language plan" reminds me of Latham's "read to children plan".

Sure its important and significant in its own way. But I thought he'd be telling us a few more significant things than that as the alternative PM.

Gozu you're a joke. Your hanging on to your Labor mob like a dag on a sheeps arse. They are in caretaker mode until late 2013.

I've always liked the idea of "Abbott and Costello" running the country - it puts politics in perspective..
And it could only be an improvement on the present "who is up next" scenario in the ALP.

That said, I have to admit that, since he has been making himself more prominent in the media, Bill Shorten is starting to look better than the incumbent.

Gillard and Abbott are their own worst enemies. Labor and Liberal have it far too good for far too long. The Greens are just plain stupid. Its time to make these people accountable to the citizens of Australia. Only then will we get a government worth voting for.

Yet either Kroger or Costello are elected members of the Federal Government, so what either of them thinks means little!

Not sure about Oakshott, does he seriously think he can be re-elected? Is he even going to bother to try? He would be better off serving the rest of his 18months or whatever it turns out to be and simply fading away, if he thinks that a move towards conservatism is going to save his neck I think that is highly unlikely! Still at the end of the day its not just Julia Gillard that supported'/s Craig Thomson but it is Oakshott himself by association, maybe that does have a bearing on his statement above?

Could it be that in the event of a rise upwards in honeymoon support for the ALP after the budget, that Gillard will call a snap poll before it can run backwards again?
