Newspoll: Rudd hits a new low

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

I know enough to make an educated guess, mate and I think it was a reasonable assumption.

You seem to have no trouble stereotyping me and others, so why so sensitive?

Actually r&b, I just raise and comment on issues whilst you continuously play the man; whether its me or someone else

If you think you can know someone from what they post on here, then we really are very different people - as for an educated guess, well I question that as well. I'd consider that stance from Psyber, but I didnt realise that you were educated in the sciences that allow you to make that assumption or statement

I think you're the one playing the man, Jimmy.

If you really think you were pro-Rudd until his clapping in that video, then I'd be amazed. Given your posting history, it seemed like a reasonable comment and how it's supposed to be playing the man is beyond me.

I would have thought you saying "you know .... all, mate" was more likely to be seen as playing the man.

As I said at the time: Hardly irelevent when you have more seats in the Senate

I was prepared to give Rudd some time to do some good but he's beginning to look a lot like Rann - all talk and very little action.

I think he lost me when he did that fairy hand clap in front of Prince William - just what an English rugby player wants to see from an Australian leader

Well - there you go r&b - I said I was prepared to give him a go - not that I was pro-Rudd - Consider the statement I made

And the "you know .... all, mate" was deliberately playing the man for a change

Don't like it? Then don't do it to others

Jimmy, get real. Saying you would give Rudd a go, when all you do is point out his every perceived mistake, is disingenuous.

Following that by saying he lost you over a handclap just proves the point.

As for playing the man, read this thread and show me where I've done so.

I haven't complained about you doing so, just replied to your accusation.

Calm down, mate.

His downfall will come from within ... I don't expect him to be the Prime Minister for the life of this Labour government.

The same fate awaits Abbott by the way. If Costello had a spine he would be making mince meat of Kevin'07 now.

Pyne's appearance on Q&A tonight will help the ALP rise in the poll. ;) Why in God's name do the Liberal Party Media Machine allow this pratt to appear on TV.

That's an interesting point of view.
I watched only a bit of it towards the end, but he seemed to be making rational sense, which is more than some of the others were.
I admit his voice is a bit irritating, and I wonder whether it is that or his not being a leftie that shapes how he is usually described here..

C'mon Psyber, the Poodle is considered a joke by both sides of the divide.

Go on, ask Jimmy_041 what he thinks.

The Poodle is a light weight ... always has been, always will and is an asset for Labor whenever he opens that Nancy Boy mouth of his.

But the joke's on me because that twat is my local MP.

I admit, dedja, I'm not all that fond of him, but I think it is partly that his voice irritates me, and I'm aware I tend not to listen to him because of that.
I try to put aside that bias, and hear what he says, but I know he does trot out the odd silly idea, too.
However, he was making sense in the bit of Q&A I saw.

Not really..
The educated Australian, come semi-English, accent is there in both, but Alexander doesn't usually have the same high pitch, except when annoyed.
