I thought it was normal convention that in election mode that party leaders were given (if requested) briefings by the feds on matters of State concern --- but on reading some of the articles around it does not seem so.

Could one of you more learned posters please clarify for my education - thanks in antis. :D

So it is correct that party leaders are given a briefing and she was given a briefing. What exactly is the issue here then?
