The Carbon tax is backed by science and today the overwhelming majority of economists backed it and said Abbott's policy was hopeless.
You're totally right, LL, Tony gets no scrutiny at all.
"Simplistic socialists", SP? You've been reading too many Bolt blogs

R&B you state "facts" ...where are they??
It makes me laugh, it is obvious Labor are gone but the Labor supporters on this board keep hanging on.
Go out and talk to people in a small business or families and see what reaction you get......this is a disaster of a Tax that has not been thought out. There are many other ways of being "green" other than causing more stress to families already struggling to get a dollar in.
I can tell you now, I am sure I will be shot down for this, but people out there have lost total confidence in this government....they are holding on their money and I (as a small business owner) hear the repeated lines " Im not sure whats going on with the ecomony " or " Might hold off for a while" or " my turnover is terrible... people aint buying".....its alright for the intellectualLabor supporters on this board to "live in their little bubble" (probably nice little government office job somewhere) but for us small businesses out there I fear the next 12 months!!! I can also tell you ....I aint the only one either!!!

Southee, mate, think about what you're saying.
Think about it.

Oh, and ‘nice little government job somewhere”.
I presume this is to make it clear that we’re not in the real world that you inhabit, of course.
Well, Southee, I’ve been in small business most of my working life and I spend a lot of time helping and advising other small businesses, so I think my view of the state of small business is at least equal to yours. Several of my clients are expanding and I haven’t had one client talk to me about the carbon tax.
I have had several asking me what the new tax rates mean to them, though.
Mate, by all means let us respect each other’s differences, but how about we each try to avoid typecasting our opponents private lives?

I'm a West supporter. You don't think I cop ****, too![]()
No worries about business advice, but you'd have to put up with me telling you to thank a West Adelaide coach for your last premiership.

Why do you keep saying could be, its obvious that he is.
67% of Australians dont think so. What are you saying?

Interesting to see the amount of support for Turnbull still about, has some great ideas but for some weird reason his own wealth seems to affect him negatively.
