Can't stand 'em......

Problem is though every other peanut under them are just as bad.

What a shitty state of Australian Politics.

That's not the greatest shame.

The greatest shame is that Cwlth pollies are streets ahead of our own SA Pollies. I have the "privilege"of (literally) seeing Federal, State and Local Govt members operate from the inside as well as observing them from the outside, and the Feds are just streets ahead in all-round ability and talent if you ignore all the public mantra and carry on. In other words, take the politics out of the pollies and the Federal pollies actually comprehend things far far better than the state pollies do. Sad, but true. I wont mention local govt ;)

Gee, my jocular Abbott's Gone? addition, simply quoting the publication of figures suggesting otherwise, seems to have disturbed the ant's nest.
For what it's worth I agree with dedja that it means SFA this fair from an election, unless the independents get nervous and opt out.
[Oakeshott would be my bet to break first, as I suspect he is really only out for #1.]

I also agree that Murdoch is a no good B, and that Abbott is not the man I would like to see leading the Libs.

I'm not convinced, however, that a Carbon Tax or any trading scheme will actually reduce CO2 pollution, or be anything but token.
We need an active, not passive, commitment to phasing out and replacing carbon based technologies with those that are clean and can deliver adequate base load.
[Given that substantial population reduction doesn't appear to be an option..]
