Once Katter broke ranks it was all over. Just waiting for the inevitable.

What will be chance that the government will last the full three years? Some pretty diverse opinions among the non-Labor support for the new government.

I noticed Oakeshotte contradict himself about ten times, with me and my workmates saying "well having said that, he'd be backing Labor" then 2 minutes later saying something that was right behind the coalition... :?

Loved the ending where he said about "exceptional circumstances..."

That means: "Julia, piss me off and we're back to the polls..." 8)

Doubt it will last long, one of the independents even said it wasn't a mandate for government. :?
Worrying part is we might be in continuous campaigning mode from now on, urgh.
I wish he would give them a mandate if he's going to back them, sounds very messy.

I think this is a pretty fair assessment of what will be our next government. Questions:

1. What will happen to the mining tax?
2.What will happen to the ETS/Carbon tax?
3. From a SA perspective despite the flood conditions in part of the Murray Darling system, what will happen regarding the over allocation of irrigation licences with two bush QLD members supporting Labor?
4. Will the Greens get nasty in the Senate if this ALP government is not progressive enough?

Interesting times....
