They need a swing of 10 seats, I believe.

They're 10 seats behind, and there's ? A few seats that need a swing of 10%.... Unlikely. Bearing in mind I never vote Liberals. So I'm a little biased slightly to the left.

Deadset trainwreck. Three ministers lost their seats, looking at about a 16% swing against the Liberals. One Nation only got about 4.5% of the primary vote.

I love it when Barnett says they lost due to the 'time' factor.
Mates out west said that the libs didn't even make an effort to campaign and were almost resigned to losing....

That's a huge swing

Thre Liberals generally have a perceived advantage of economic management, but given the state of WA economy with their debt, I would say they wouldnt even have been able to campaign on that.

I know virtually nothing about this MacGowan guy, but he looks to have a bit of charisma about him, but hes got a fairly big job ahead of him now.

Im guessing that Barnett wont continue as Lib leader, although he's always come across as quite a stubborn bloke.

So much for the march of the alt-right. One Nation shown to be the fringe dwellars they are, or perhaps West Australians aren't as stupid as their QLD counterparts.

Having spent some time over in the West, they hate the east coast with a lot of vitriol.
Pauline's error was siding with the Libs (i did think they would hang on though) instead of an even split and trying to get their on her own merit.
Plus she tried telling them and not talking with them.

Our Cory will be alright once he gets his platform sorted and makes smarter decisions than Pauline.
