Bob...Bob....Bob.....

( you'll need sound )

Yeah, that was fantastic to watch.

Two things I love about this snippet of Bob Katter:

a) His voice sounds like he's hit puberty a second time (which is pretty most much of the time he speaks); and

b) How his voice switches from happy and positive to stern and angry in the blink of an eye.

And the fact that the presenters basically laugh in his face. Shows the level of respect our politicians deserve is at an all time low

I've seen them, he's appealing to people who are watching TV in the middle of the day....as they have no job....or the prospect of getting one.

Turnbull agrees/has been dragged kicking and screaming by his own party into holding a banking royal commission that for the previous 18 months he didn't want to have.

Not sure of Malcolm's home address at Point Piper, but you can be sure it's not on Leadership Street.

What about Turnbulls spin during the announcement...nobody believes anything he says. And after today he has stooped to a new low.

This China thing is interesting. Both sides are flirting with China and that's been proven over and over again.
However, it seems that the Libs are more keen to make something of the ALP's connections than vice-versa.

The Chinese seem confused and perhaps angered about our position on their nation, including our contradictory stand on trade at arm's length.
My comments about the Libs' stance on China above are reflected in this piece about Australia's recently released foreign policy position.

http://www.afr.com/news/world/china-tel ... 123-gzrpbu

I read an even more scathing review of the white paper from China's state-controlled media - which would, obviously, reflect where China's leaders see us. Sadly, I can't find it now. It made interesting reading.

Australia has always had a vexed relationship with China and its peoples. It's interesting to watch, particularly now as we rely on their trade now more than ever.

Was there a swing for or against him?

Probably shows that people don’t really care about the fact that he was a kiwi. I think the law needs to be changed

Biggest swing 'to' in a by-election.
