Parole Board

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

I'm predictable in my "attacks" on the Liberal Party sure but just because I don't get stuck into Labor on here amongst you lot doesn't mean I don't do it. FYI I've never been a member of any political party whatsoever or have ever even been a member of a Union. Gillard was always going to be impressive which is why I was so annoyed with the Liberal Party's attacks on her in the lead up to the last election. Anyone but the absolutely deranged knew not to swallow their "She's a communist, her and her Union comrades are going to take your children!" rubbish. Oh no the federal Libs are a complete rabble. The Mad Monk's angling for the leadership, Turnbull's polling shows him rated beneath even Hockey and the departing Costello. Much like our own Libs the factional warfare behind the scenes is still going on.

I agree we're in need here of a decent Opposition. We're not getting that and I doubt we will anytime soon either. Obviously I think you and 1-2 others on here massively overstate the problems in this State. They're still flying in the polls for that very reason, they're running the state well and they're not giving anyone genuine reasons to start looking at the Libs. Are the Rann government arrogant and loaded with a fair bit of spin? Of course they are. When the Opposition are fighting amongst themselves and coming up with ridiculous policies like a Billion dollar stadium in the city, why wouldn't they be? No one's voting for them and they know it.

Just another point in my statement about Labor moving to become a centre-right party in recent times, don't overlook the Catholic/Christian vote. While I don't like it bringing that Monsignor Cappo into the tent was a brilliant move and if the Opposition were even half compotent they'd be kicking up a fuss about how many sweet under the radar property deals the SA Government have been doing for the Catholic church.

Hey Jimmy what happened? I was just about to get stuck into your post. Probably was a good idea to have a bit of a re-think.

Oh hello. Firstly No, I didn't get to see all of your post. Why? Because even though you posted (two links I had made about that animal Liberal staffer & something to do with Turnbull, didnt get a chance to read the rest) that earlier this morning I didn't get on here until after 5pm. I was in here firstly typing up a big reply to Mick, accidentally pressed a back button somehow which wiped the whole thing so I had to then do another reply altogether and in the time between me coming in here at 5pm and getting off that second reply to Mick you obviously came rushing in and deleted your post. Why is that? Whatever was in it you saw fit to leave it there all day but the moment you see that I'm here bang it's gone.

What I love about you Jimmy is just how unhinged you are on here. Posting conspiracy theories about me flying around left, right and centre, why? Just because I see things differently to you? What really gets me with people like you is you've done nothing but try and attack me personally from the very moment I started posting in here (despite not knowing a thing about me) yet you have the audacity to start playing the victim! I'm not the one getting Rannwatch threads deleted mate. What you really need to start doing is to stop and think real hard before pressing the "submit" button. By the looks of things you appear to sober up eventually but you shoot off the insults and conspiracy theories far too quickly for me to consider you anything other than a troll who's not the full quid.

Gozu, you are getting abusive, and accusing others of behaviour that is exactly what you do yourself.
You are only a propogandist, not someone who discusses or debates issues with any balance.
I, too, am going to stop replying to you.

Maybe its time for everyone to calm down a bit. I'm afraid I'm not too fussed by what is by anyone's standard fairly mild "abuse" on an on-line forum from someone I don't know or know anything about.

This kind of crap is exactly what I'm talking about. You conveniently choose to ignore who started "abusing" who first based solely on your politicial bias. This is why for the most part I don't respect right-wing people. Most of them can't debate anything like adults and start going the man. It wasn't you personally Psyber but a couple of your brethren (Jimmy for the most part) who first started attacking me personally from the very moment I started posting in here. The reason I took some time entering the political section here was because I know what your ilk are all about and have been through it all before on other forums. The levels your mob resort to were clearly on show last election with all those Gillard ads and those disgraceful pamphlets in Lindasy, NSW.

You calling me a propogandist tells me all I really need to know about you Psyber. If you and Jimmy for whatever dishonest reasons don't wish to reply to me anymore, go right ahead. I tried to stay out of this thread because I knew it would eventually descend into a sh!t fight and unfortunately I took Jimmy's bait. He got exactly what he was after.

Neither am I really. You calling me Gozebbles certainly didn't keep me up at night. Jimmy calling me a dickhead doesn't bother me either. Like you said it is by anyone's standard pretty mild stuff.

There is an amusing part to all this....

Jimmy - Norwood supporter
Gozu - ditto
Psyber - ditto
Squawk - ditto

=))

For football purposes, let's say we are all on the "right" side.
:idea:Now we just have to convince Mick to see the "right light" and join the red and blue camp! ;)

Ha ha, all rich boys. At least the others admit being blue bloods. Gozu, you play at being a working man. Did you vote Labour to rebel against your parents?

Just for the record, no blue blood in these veins and my parents are from lower-middle class stock. Supporting Norwood has "unfortunately" always been a family tradition ;)

Hey, BobbyNeil, not all those who can see the great truths and, so, distrust Labor and follow Norwood were born to it.
I grew up in the western suburbs and went to Woodville High - with Bruce Nyland [Port] and Terry Groom [Labor] actually.
What's more, my father worked for the SA Railways at Islington and was a staunch Labor man.
However, he played in the red & blue for Moonta and followed Norwood when he moved to Adelaide..
It became a family tradition, as in Gozu's case.
[I'm "rich" now but I made some myself, and my older sister left me what she'd made herself too.]

Despite the excellent company, I won't be changingto Norwood lads. More chance of voting Labor I'm afraid. Ever since i moved from the country in 68 I'v.e lived in red and white territory. A cousin of mine (Frank O'Leary) was vice capt. of the 1949 Premiership team and B&F a couple of times. The sporting ability unfortunately was not inherited. NAFC has some real blue-blood areas, not too many Labor voters around here (Walkerville)
