The Mad Monk strikes again.

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

That's because he can't. How do we know he hasn't promised to do so in the unlikely event the Libs win office? Abbott doesn't mind raving on about what might've been discussed with Conroy/Stokes (with plenty of justification I might add) but won't disclose what he and Rupert (a man who owns about 80% of the print media in this country) talked about?

After this great turn by God/the flying spaghetti monster if I were Abbott I'd be out there buying a lotto ticket.

Have you noticed Abbott is really pushing the "man's man" or attractive virile male image, his recent foray into the North with aboriginal elders, getting dirty , the archetypal Australian male, or at least how many would like to see themselves, in comparison to the bland nerdy beaurocrat. Also a leader not afraid to articulate his true beliefs, even if they are unpopular. Any bets on Kevin 07 being a one termer? Abbott needs a strategy to remove Joyce as a priority.

Agree - he's taking a leaf out of Russian politics - hell be wrastling a croc in his speedos soon

Bring Minchin back - they (I) dont like him which is good and he doesn't f### up

Create a Shadow Ministry of Queensland - Joyce wont notice the payoff

Thank whoever that Hockey wasn't made Captain either

Jimmy you know as well as I do that all of the crap coming out of Abbott's mouth has nothing to do with trying to win elections but trying to minimise the size of the loss. He's shoring up their hard-right base which was the point of putting him in.
