The definition of unemployment always makes me laugh when the labour force changes depending on if you are particpating or not. I thought back in year 12 Economics, much like yourself GWW but not that long ago, that it was full of crap.
Also the fact that the ABS base this on a very small % of the population.
How about we use the figures from Centrelink. How many are on Welfare...bang. How many are on the "dol" instead of say pensions. Probably not a simple as that but you get the idea. I reckon it would give a much more accurate assessment of jobs in each state.
Also we wouldnt have to deal with the not looking bullshit.
