Are you able to substantiate this claim Sky Pilot?

I can't find any reference to where the Greens have demanded 55% of the decision making...

Really.... Really? Check your facts and try again.

Start with looking up who the MP in the seat of Balmain is?
11% of vote in LC? Bout the norm for Greens in NSW. (<in regards to polling in 10-11)

Now you just look silly dont you?

Apologies for that, the last article I read (beow) had the Greens trailing in that seat and I didnt go for the final figures when it was all finalised!

Hahahahaha i love it. Its actually scary how true it is. Media are no doubt keeping the Coalitition in the contest. Theres no good storys to feed the 24 hours news machine about a good government that has governed well and leading the strongest economy in the world. So they allow this pretender to cause uncertainty in our markets, talking the economy down causing a lack of consumer confidence to spend!

I could tolerate a Turnbull and to a lesser extent a Hockey as PM but ill pack up and move to somewhere far away if a clown like Tony Abbott can become Prime Minister!

Sojourner was big enough to apologise for his error, so it should be left at that.

Oh I am here okay. I just don't respond to headmaster types making demands. Fish can do his own research. The stupid Greens have a pissant voter support but they somehow control the parliament. When Gillard addresses us all on Sunday those idiots Brown/Milne/Bandt/Hanson-Young will be standing behind her with their hands up her back pulling the strings. It enrages me

If you understood anything about Austraian politics and the Westminster system. You would realise a Senator could NEVER become PM! Let alone a leader of a minority party and also as he will not be standing at next election and will be retiring.

But that doesnt get reported does it?

If you understood anything you would realise that there is nothing stopping him from standing down from his position as Senator and running to become a member of the house of representatives.

I doubt the Greens plan on remaining as a minor party for their entire existence either.

He says he is retiring, heard that before from politicians.

Bat Pad, to think that Bob Brown could become Prime Minister of a Green's government is just nonsense.

The Greens also don't control the Senate. They have 9 seats only.

As for your (and Sky Pilot's) thoughts on the Greens, you're entitled to think that way, but it would be nice to back it with some facts, instead of just peurile abuse and name-calling.

At least Rupert Murdoch would be pleased that you're following the company line.

Bob Brown as P.M. that would be a great scare campaign.
All this invective about the greens is utter nonsense. They consistently got 12% of the vote in most lower house seats around the country and slightly more in the senate at the election. When you now pit there 10 representatives in parliament(1 lower house + 9 senate) against the 151 lower house seats and 69(i think) senators, they have 5% of the seats in parliament. If anything they are still under represented by the people that voted for them. If either party can not work with them then it is to the nations detriment. Until our system of parliament changes this is what the community will have to deal with.

Totally agree, did I say I thought he would?

Simply set it straight that he could.

Did I ever say they controlled the senate?

Name calling? Post up my name calling thanks

Also a bit rich coming from you about towing company (or should we say party) lines.
