Minority governments are obviously a disaster. Bring back the days of Howard, Hawke and dare I say it, Keating.

Keating?? Wash your mouth out with soap Clarrie!! ;)

I'd take Keating over Gillard...

Can't argue with you there Clarrie :)

Point taken.

Oh f***, not Keating
I love the left
They loved Keating but hate Abbott yet cant see the similarities between the two, except Abbott actually had an education

Who loves Keating? Funny as all hell but was essentially a Lib in Labor clothing as is very common in NSW.

Most of it makes me think Slippers a creepy dude, but the last few lines make me think Ashby joined in a bit too...

Where would you put him on this distribution?

I'd put him higher up the "Authoritarian" scale than any of our parties, but I'm not sure about the left/right scale.
It was his authoritarianism that got up my nose and left me not caring about the rest of him.

My score on that scale puts me close to the Greens, but I'm obviously left and liberal over different issues from them because I don't find myself agreeing with them much.

I ain't no millionaire nor are any of the people i work with.

Sadly the union movement is not too different than bosses there are good ones and bad ones in both sides.

Some union officials should be bosses and a few bosses should be union officials, not too many though :D ;) .

but you gotta remember the union only fight if they know they will win and they dont like to waste resources on what they may see as trivial issue, yet publicly advertise otherwise!!

Maybe, but is Tony Abbott not worse for asking Peter Slipper to vote with the Liberal Party at this stage? At least when the Labor Party appointed him as speaker, none of these allegations had come to light.

I think Slipper would have had a hand in it for sure. He probably sent a rancid text msg to God and said "bring it on."

Blew right up in the faces of the Libs & their cheerleader Steve Lewis.

Supposedly no Libs were willing to front the cameras today after all their carry on.

Should be the end of Mal Brough, the bloke has never passed the smell test but his hide is even thicker than Slipper's.
