Just putting it out there ...
I don't agree with what he said but I think as we lead to believe ... She is tough enough to ride it though .
Just labour keep going on about it like getting hit with a stone in a school yard !!!
Personally IDGAFF about Jones. He is in Sydney for a start, and I wouldn't listen to him even if I could. Besides if Jones said the sun was going to rise tomorrow I'd seek a second opinion.

I agree the media and Labor and every bloke and his dog has jumped on this as a priceless opportunity to belt Jones and the Liberal party up. Go back to 1986 when the space shuttle blew up. A big joke at the time was "Where do astronauts go for their holidays? Answer: "All over Florida." I don't recall any backlash over that.

Has nothing to do with the Liberal party, loads to do with poor taste. Oh, hang on.....
As for the shuttle "gags", I dont think the "gag" would have been directed at any of the departeds immediate family.

They are all about conning and ripping off the uninformed and trusting public, and morally reprehensible.
In some ways more so than a stupid, off the cuff, remark, because it is more deliberate and systematic.

Frustration at the lack of consideration of views out-side cabinet that are held by the Caucus a la Rudd, or 2. To concentrate on his marginal Sydney seat.
I wonder what the true reason is?
Also an interesting argument by Michelle Gratton on the Slipper Affair...

Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has referenced shock jock Alan Jones' controversial remarks about Julia Gillard's late father, saying the government "should already have died of shame".
Mr Abbott told parliament this afternoon that Ms Gillard should be ashamed of herself and her judgment for appointing Peter Slipper as Speaker.
"Should she rise in this place now to try and defend the Speaker, to try and say that she retains confidence in this Speaker, she will shame this parliament again," he said.
"And every day the prime minister stands in this parliament to defend this Speaker will be another day of shame for this parliament, another day of shame for a government which should already have died of shame."
The comments reference a speech Jones gave to a Sydney University Liberal function two weeks ago in which he said Ms Gillard's recently deceased father had "died of shame".
The prime minister appeared to fight back emotion as she offered a fierce response to Mr Abbott's comments.
"Can I indicate to the leader of the Opposition the government is not dying of shame.
"My father did not die of shame.
"What the leader of the opposition should be ashamed of is his performance in this parliament and the sexism he brings with it."
