Best televised political interview. EVER.

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

Best televised political interview. EVER.

Sarah Palin, wannabe septic vice-president.

The interview itself ain't so entertaining, but you gotta love her idea of a suitable backdrop for an interview.

I thought to myself, ah, who's that dude in the background smiling at the camera constantly?
Oh, he is holding a turkey upside down with it's head sticking in a conical machine, I wonder what that does? Then Sarah Palin says "Oh, I decided to do this for a bit of fun!!!" just as the guy in the background doubles his grip on the suddenly writhing turkey, legs pumping desperately, wings flailing helplessly, feathers flying then another casual glance as he turns to smile at the camera.
Then she says she's supporting local industry. Could you imagine a Chapman's Ham commercial on prime time TV with the voiceover "Bringing the good things to your table!" as a struggling pig gets the chop?
An interesting way to work up the clentelle's appetite for the season's goodies.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
