Ah, jimmy stating things as fact without backing it up with any sort of link or quote, nothing. About usual.

So is it a rule of the thread to provide links for everything??

surely just following the news is enough....

She should drop the -Young and join her name sake (For Benny: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pauline_Hanson)
Mind you, she is probably properly representing all of the 67,000 people that voted for her

I'm sure Ricky Muir is properly representing the 57 people who voted for him too.

I would have thought "I thought....." would have tipped you off that it is an opinion; not fact. In fact, I have no idea how you ever thought it was fact.
Plus, I would have thought any reasonable person would have identified that the generality of the comment would support that it was only an opinion and not fact specific; but that's just my opinion............

A TERMINALLY ill South Australian man who ran for the senate for the Voluntary Euthanasia Party has taken his life in a Glenelg motel room, says campaigner Philip Nitschke.

FORMER businessman, Max Bromson, was the lead candidate in SA for the VEP, which backs the introduction of voluntary euthanasia laws across the country.

In the run-up to the September 2013 election, the 66-year-old said it was vital for Australia to understand the importance of right-to-die laws.

Mr Bromson, who suffered from carcinoid tumours, a rare and terminal form of bone cancer, said he lived with chronic, excruciating pain and wanted the right to end his life peacefully at the appropriate time.

Dr Nitschke said Mr Bromson died early on Monday morning after taking drugs which had been tested at the Exit International laboratory in Adelaide.

Unless you are or are very close to someone who is terminally ill, in chronic pain or has all dignity removed because of all of the above you won't understand.

Agree with this. MIL died of lung cancer (though not smoking a day in her life) and the best thing I can say is that it got her very quickly

I only just came across this, I expected Fox News viewers in the US to be old but not median age 68.8!

For Fox to post numbers that they haven't seen since August of 2001 (before 9/11) is a painful blow to both their reputation and their bank account. But they have even bigger problems. The viewers that do tune in to Fox are significantly older than viewers of their competitors. Fox News has always had the oldest skewing audience in cable news. With a median age of 68.8 years, Fox's audience is over six years older than either CNN or MSNBC. It's even worse for their top rated program (O'Reilly) who's average viewer is over 72 years old. And their Great Blonde Hope (Kelly), who was specifically brought in to draw younger viewers, also exceeded Fox's average with her typical viewer voyeur being over 70.

An analysis of the audience composition for the three cable news networks shows that Fox's total audience contains a pitiful 20% of the 25-54 age group favored by advertisers. It's even worse for their primetime schedule where only 15% fall into that group. That compares to CNN with 30%/35% respectively, and MSNBC with 31%/28%. In other words, CNN and MSNBC draw 50% more total viewers in the younger demos, and they double Fox's ratio in primetime.
