You're excusing Anning's "final solution" speech?

Huh? I haven't heard his speech

I am referring to the cartoon characterising the left people as peaceful loving/not hating, beautiful human beings (I wouldn't dare use the word "protesters")

Have you heard it now ? if so thoughts ?

There's this hilarious parody Twitter account of our Prime Minister, just follow @ScottMorrisonMP

It's dinky-di, ridgey-didge, fair dinkum comedy gold.

I am enduring my first NSW election campaign for this Saturday
Wow! What a difference compared to SA
No posters or corflutes polluting the streets
Nothing in my letterbox
Apart from the spasmodic tv ad; nothing!

Other than what I read in the Manly Daily, I wouldnt have a clue who is standing

This is the way all election campaigns should be run: not seen and not heard!

I find it rather amusing that NSW Labor criticise the Govt for the very same stuff their SA mates did with impunity
If I still had a Twitter account, I’d be posting some stuff to severely embarrass Labor.
Anyway, It would have to be the most lacklustre election I’ve ever seen (& I’ve seen 40 years of it!)
The most prosperous state in the country with more crains than the US (so I’ve been told) yet people will still complain because they know no different.
Budget surplus of $4.2Bn (mind you I haven’t checked it like I did SA)
That’s actually not a good thing depending on overall State debt. I’d be cutting taxes to really lift the state economy and people’s spending power (we have Sunday shopping here and the city is alive on Sundays!)
But spending $730m on a new stadium? Dumb.. but it worked for Rann & Foley. Imagine if they’d used that money for health instead of trashing it.
Who will win? NFI and I haven’t found a person who will take a punt. This is a different Australia up here. I live on the northern beaches and have no idea what goes on in the southern, eastern or western suburbs.

Coalition has it in the bag by the looks of it. Gladys is a far better speaker than Michael, she could sell sand to the Arabs whilst he couldn't sell a bagel to a starving Ethiopian.

Funniest part of the night was when Daley walked on stage to talk to the party faithful. Walked straight past the podium with a Labor placade on it and a heap of red balloons behind and up to the dj's microphone, complete with keyboard. One of his cronies had to direct him back to the right place. Bad night for the lad.

Dunno, but ironically they've taken down the story behind that link.

That said, taking down Q&A would be a good thing if they believe in persisting with (a) having pollies from opposite ends of the political spectrum doing the 'he said, she said' bantering and using it as an opportunity to push talking points, and (b) publishing the twitter nonsense at the bottom of the screen, which says that the stuff your hearing isn't really worth listening to.

From Insiders this morning, the pictures section with Mike Bowers.

Some truly great tributes to Tim Fisher via Australia's cartoonists. Not sure who this was but just great.

Agree, it was a touching cartoon. IIRC it was Jon Kudelka.
