I decided to delete this post as on reading more about this issue this afternoon I feel I made a serious mis-judgement in my original comments.

You're a staunch Christian right? Tell all this to the Liberal Party leader Malcolm Turnbull who not only supported it but started crying during his speech at the podium.

The government has done the right thing in this case, I'm glad to see it had bi-partisan support.

You are so right Redden, it was good to see that apologies by the government are not handed out on a racial basis. They all turned up because Turnbull has unified the party :lol:
