So we also have a few members of the State Libs now looking to do the same.

Something in the water at the moment?

So what's the go with state Liberals?

They consistently seem to be a group of Muppets.

Victoria and WA as examples. Then look at Qld as well. Back here in SA and whilst Steve and his crew were off to a good start. They seem to be falling over themselves to **** it all up.

Victorian and WA liberals have been a joke for a while now.
I reckon Marshall is doing a good job here, can’t believe the heat he cops. Yes there are some things that could be done better but I’d rather be here than anywhere else in Australia right now

Not so much Steve, you just have to look at who is around him to know the talent pool this thing. Spiers for example is so incompetent it's amazing he can dress himself in the morning. Corey Wingard is lucky to still be there. The Health Minister has been hiding under a rock for the last 2 years and my word Rachel Sanderson and Vickie Chapman.

True but the pool is shallow on both sides, some of those clowns in the Labor camp are worse!
Steve has to clean out far right religious nut jobs first and foremost.

Marshall will be stoked when the bible bashers all go waste their time in a Family First party, he can get on with governing without them trying to influence policy. Nutters.

What has helped Steve over the COVID related issues is the bi-partsin support he has received from Peter M . Unlike the other states.

An election is in the air. Dana Worthy is out and about and splashing the cash with election promises.

While I do agree with community spending, it will be interesting to see if W we have a change in government that she goes through with this.

Lol at the amount of fluff pieces about the Marshall government at the moment. After they started to cop a bit of criticism about some decisions it seems the spin doctors has come to the rescue. There's an election around he corner after all.

Firstly we have 1200 new nurses as part of the Covid plan.

Then we are back onto the savings from water. Sort of happened 12 months ago didn't it?

How many extra hospital beds do we have have? 30 so far...

Oh but we are getting a basketball stadium.

Interesting that we have limited press about the liberals going to 21 seats.

Basically yes.
The Lib's issue is the tension between the middle ground and the conservative and/or religious right.
The ALP's is the tension between the middle ground and the socialist left.

Both parties need to keep, but try to control, their extreme elements to get enough seats to take or keep office, but both extremist sets think they can win office if they control their party because they think they are right and the majority of people will therefore vote for them.

Probably, if the extreme groups left the major parties and formed their own political groups, nobody would get the numbers to control the parliament a that frightens them all - so the internal tension persists for both...

Out on the fringes we have those so extreme they will never get the numbers to take office, but they keep on hoping the voters will see they are right and vote them in or at least give them the balance of power..

Psyber that sounds like complete anarchy and I like the sound of it.

The Libs are all over the shot at the moment. Good chance they fall over themselves at the next election.

Meanwhile my local member Dan Cregan has announced he will go independent at the next election.
I know Dan fairly well and will vote for him. (I'm also quite happy with federal independent Rebekha Sharkey.)

The system is still in a mess so next year do not calla on a Marshall to fix it.

In saying that the other mob stuffed it up over 16 years of incompetence.

So ah waking.uo this morning do we actually have a state government here on SA right now?

I'm not so sure we do. We actually might need an election sooner than March to sort out this debacle.
