Bill O'Reilly interviews Barrack Obama

Did anyone else see this interview or exerts from it? After looking at the footage and then comparing it to interviews I saw with Gillard and Abbott last year I couldn't help but feel that in the communication stakes he is a thouroghbread and those two are mules. Im not talking about the points he was making but just the way he carried himself. Compared to Gillards wooden, fake interviews and Abbotts cringeworthily awkward ones it just made me wonder why we don't have any genuinely outstanding orators leading any party at the moment, state or federal.

Good point, Bat Pad, but it's just reflective of the time.

Not long ago, we would have been comparing George Bush to our leaders. ;)

Let's not misunderestimate his skills as an orator.

It wasn't possible to underestimate George W.

Obamas approval rating as of today is 27%. The same poll (not done by FNC incidently) revealed 52% of those polled think he will be a one-term president. He is smooth and probably should be selling cars on the strip at Las Vegas.
It is difficult not to like the guy but he is only the front man for a seriously flawed liberal government controlled by people of the calibre of dumped speaker Nancy Pelosi.
so Obama can spruik but it doesn't go much deeper than that.

Bill O'reilly would be proud of you, Darth :D

You've got the language just right.

'liberal'' government and a reference to nancy Pelosi.

Remember to watch Glenn Beck for a laugh when you get home.

PS: I agree with you about the Americanisation of our language, but you accept the ramblings of the troglodyte US right for your political thoughts ;)

You are pretty much right here. American's would have voted for a drovers dog just to show disapproval for the Bush years so Obama was in the right place at the right time. His wife annoys me as much as he does. Voters over there put a lot of importance on media savvy and image rather than financial wizardry and ability to run an organisation hence you get some lightweights in positions of power from time to time.

of course what some people missed was the reluctance of Obama to recognise the Muslim Brotherhood as a vicious
sharia Law exponent. It could be his downfall when those dreadful people assume power in
Egypt and he could lose his presidency on a foreign policy issue. Carter-like

Do you actually know anything of depth regarding the current power struggle in Egypt and the influence that American and Middle-Eastern stakeholders are having? Or are you just making ridiculous sweeping statements again?

Actually, do you blokes think the Muslim Brotherhood would be a good thing for Egypt? It seems to be a considered opinion that they could grasp power

Quichey, I'm not sure where you got trapped, but go easy on him.

He's a precious gift to this forum for those on the opposite side of politics to him.

Darth,

1 Don't forget the Factor will be on soon and you can pinhead and no-spin again.

2 You seem reluctant to back up your 27% with any factual reference. My bet is you heard it on Fox.

3 Your knowledge of Egypt extends as far as Fox News Channel tells you.

Keep on posting, mate, I love it :D

Couldn't agree more. Absolute wanker. How he keeps his own show, even on Fox, is beyond me.

I love my country and the freedom my father and his mates in the Armed forces fought so hard for. To see these leftist nondescript people try and bring it down to their level really pisses me off.
