But didn't mention late applications or the ones that didn't meet the criteria.

My favourites will always be the grants approved without applications.

Clearly all above board and nothing to see here.

On any view, this whole 'sport-rorts' saga flunked the pub test. The fact that the government strove for 18 days to defend it is as disgraceful as it is laughable. But that's Scotty's leadership style - no big picture, just double down on talking points no matter what and keep ahead of Labor in the pissy day-to-day political squabbles of the 24 hour news cycle.

Nice scapegoat for that scoundrel Morrison. I hope the media, the opposition, anyone, continue to go hard at him for his central role in corruptly using taxpayer money to sway an election campaign.
Peter Van Onselen who is a coloumist with the Australian is going pretty hard on this. Seems to be the only one so I would suggest his days of working for the Australian are probably over.

Anyway he's been going hard at the moment. Looks like he is set to continue to do so.

Yeah, I've noticed this as well.

Van Onselen Is pi$$ed that the Coalition won the election. Staked his reputation on it and lost so he’s picking up everything and anything and running with it. Likes to make stuff up as well. Probably why he fits in at both Newscorp and Ch10
He just got heavily taken down again about the difference between Brexit and Australian head of state.
In his usual juvenile manner, he just says the other person is wrong without giving his reasoning.

Should have stuck to lecturing where his mouth goes unchallenged

A lot of diehard Libs hate PvO with a passion he was a former Tony Abbott staffer who when given a TV show on Sky News dared to criticise the great man.

He's been excommunicated ever since.

Di Natale stepping down as leader of the Greens what do you reckon Jimmy time for SHY to ascend to the throne?

Not surprised, he's got two families with six kids, he'd have to be handy with numbers.

Not a convincing sign of confidence in McCormack if those numbers are true. He'd want to avoid any major stuff-ups in the near future.

I didn’t know where he’s worked other than UWA and, currently, everywhere in the media.

I think SHY would be good for the Greens but, alas, I think Adam Brandt will get it. SHY is just too mentally stable for the job.
Shame actually: I’d like to see the documentary Sea Patrol back on TV

Think we could be in for another round of Pork Barrelling with people now looking into infrastructure spend in as well and again looming for correlation between seats and major projects. Might not be as clear cut but I would say there might be a few interesting things to come out of it as well.

If we are referring to SHY as the stable one then I think that says it all.

Is that the regional infrastructure fund that made the news yesterday? If so, there's probably less in it at first blush than the sport-rorts affair, given the Libs and Nats hold most regional seats.
