It was an aggressive rant that didn't congratulate the winner.

Chris Kenny was at peak butthurt last night too. Very entertaining.

I'm following Anthony Green on Twitter at the moment, some postal votes brought Sharma back into contention. However recounts and further counts are swinging away from him again. Phelps as of this morning is looking solid again.

It's quite funny reading conservatives blaming Mal for everything - because the loss wouldn't have anything to do with climate change denial and kids in offshore gulags!

Scott Morrison was talking up the Libs/Nats relationship with the cross benches.

What he actually means is there relationship with Katter and to be fair that's all they need at the moment. But in general the Libs/Nat have a high level of contempt for the cross bench so this next period should be interesting.

Scott Morrison walks out of parliament just prior to Phelps' maiden speech.

I reckon he is even less unlikable than Abbott.

I understand why he left, he and I both know he wouldn't have understood any of it.

He truly is rivaling the orange schmuck in the US for the dumbest leader in the world. Worst part, it wasn't the stupid people who elected him.

Banks claims its her seat win that gave Libs victory.
Now she finally jumped off after threatening to do so for so long.....

That is also telling of where the country is at in my opinion. If a Labor led by Bill Shorten looks to be the stable option, then geez this country is in the shit.

Of course in saying that all Labor have had to do is just sit there and watch the shit storm across the floor happen.

Its a funny thing. The Liberals best hope at the next election is Bill Shorten and Bills best hope is the Liberals themselves.

Being miles ahead of the coalition doesn’t necessarily make you “competent”...

One thing the ALP are offering is stability, Shorten, Plibersek, Wong, Albanese ( my pick for the PM one day ), Farrell, Bowen, Burke, Bulter et al all look to be a unified team. I reckon the ghost of Rudd/Gillard/Rudd has been laid to rest by this group and they aren't going to make the same mistake again.

Really is baffling how the Libs didn't learn anything from the Rudd/Gillard/Rudd thing when it comes to the voters. Stupid bastards.

Yep, in my opinion there really isnt a person in the current parliament who looks to standout as a Leader, from any party.
It would be a concern if the ALP werent ahead of the Libs in the polls, but the one telling issue is that despite ScoMo's problems his lead in the most preferred leader v Billy keeps extending.
