It is a waste of time Bully.
Politics is a bit like religion for some, and this thread is not for balance - it is for the faithful.
The fundamentalists believe their faith is totally right in all things and those who disagree in any way at all can do nothing right.
So, there is no need to wait and see what actually happens over time...

While I agree with the majority of what the Libs believe in I do not agree with it all - and I say so even within the party.

(I also don't oppose everything the ALP (or even the Greens) stand for.)

Abbott says Holden workers will be "liberated" by the loss of their jobs:

Prime Minister Tony Abbott says many Holden workers will be "liberated" by the loss of their jobs at the carmaker.

Mr Abbott has announced plans for a $100 million fund to help create jobs in the states affected by the closure of Holden in Australia.

The Labor Government in South Australia has already slammed the package as "manifestly inadequate" and "insulting", and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten has accused the PM of treating workers with "absolute contempt".

Sophie Mirabella appointed to the ASC Board ... good one Tone, she'll fit that role like a glove.

How can you reward someone who lost their seat when the coalition won the election in a landslide? Sure that says something about her?

Mirabella is a real piece of work, not too many even on her own side were sad to see her lose her seat too.

She was only ever a backbencher when the coalition was in government, had margin of approx 20% in her seat at the 2010 election, but still lost her seat in a landslide coalition election victory.

A glimpse of her character is summarised thus*:

In 1995, she began a live-in relationship with Colin Howard, then dean of law at Melbourne University, who was forty years her senior. The relationship ended in 2001, although they remained close until his death in 2011. Her relationship with Howard was later the subject of a bitter dispute between Mirabella and Howard's adult children. Mirabella was granted power of attorney over Howard's estate and made herself the sole beneficiary.

* allegedly ;)

So I don't understand the fuss, she's perfect for her new job.

Very allegedly!
I've been a Power of Attorney. It doesn't empower the person to alter the terms of the will, just administer them.
So one cannot make themselves the sole beneficiary if they are not already that in the will.
The holders of any asset in trust, like banks or share registries, will require to see a copy of the will to confirm the Power of Attorney's actions are correct.
