Your a union man ? you call Bill corrupt ? You do recall the Royal Commission into unions called by the Abbott Coalition government that scrutinized Shorten and found nothing.

I am proud union man and would stand shoulder to shoulder with Shorten .
And your a Labor Man ? No one has called Labor Gods or Libs Devils BUT unless you live under a rock surely you would say this coalition Liberal/National Government a farce at best .

We need more Labor Union men like you 8-}

Maybe not those exact words, but thats the general gist of most on here
Absolutely we do. Much prefer an open minded Labor Union man than a happy clapper Labor Union man, they're just as bad as a leftard

Charming stuff from a Government staffer.

A government staffer has been put on "indefinite leave" after texting an expletive-laden tirade to a female journalist who recently criticised a federal MP.

News Corp journalist Annika Smethurst opened a text message from a Liberal National Party staffer last Sunday night that was littered with abuse, including the terms "feminist c--t" and "bitch". The staffer also wished the recipient's family died "of painful cancer".

The texts were sent to Smethurst after the award-winning journalist wrote a piece critical of Queensland senator Barry O'Sullivan's track record with women in politics.

But in a statement, Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack said the message was "accidentally and inadvertently" sent to the reporter when it was actually intended for a friend.

The Nats in the headlines yet again for all the wrong reasons.

Nationals MP Andrew Broad has resigned as assistant minister to the Deputy Prime Minister, after New Idea published allegations Mr Broad used a dating website to meet younger women while he was away on work trips.

The New Idea article quotes a woman called Amy, who says she is almost 20 years younger than the federal MP.

She claims she had dinner with him at a Hong Kong restaurant.

The Member for Mallee is married and told the magazine he believes the person making the allegation may have engaged in criminal activity.

Following the publication of the article, Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Nationals Michael McCormack said given the nature of the allegations, it was appropriate Mr Broad resigned from the ministry.

Fraudenberg caught telling porkies again yesterday. Or is he just an economic lightweight?

MYEFO shows growth down, investment down, wages growth down & consumption growth down. All while Morrison govt being the second highest taxing government in Aus history.

Really? I seem to remember paying 57 cents in the dollar tax during both the Whitlam and Fraser eras...
My accountant said, "You're paying too much tax, have you considered getting a Mercedes?"

In private practice then one car was automatically 90% deductible.
(I bought a 2 year old Porsche 911.)

The debt they've doubled?

Goes to show it doesn't matter and we should stop feeding the paradigm that it does.

Hmm I was thinking of income tax rather than percetage of GDP.
Different basis, different result I guess.

After having voted for Whitlam in 1972 and 1974, I was turned off the idealism that first attracted me by the rising debt levels...
The Fraser and post-Keating Howard government had to raise money to dig us out of the debt.

Erm, it was Fraser that left Debt to Hawke. Approx 10% of GDP
